according to the number of credits
earned in a year based on the
following scales:

Less than 5 credits
Sophomore (grade 10, second
year
Less than 10 credits
Junior (grade 11, third year)

A student who does not meet
these credit requirements will
remain in the same grade until
the necessary credits are earned
to advance to the next grade.
A grade placement review will
be conducted at the end of each
semester. These credit/class
placement designations will
not apply to the ESL students,
until it is clear they have
sufficient skill in the English
language to understand the subject
material. A change in placement
does not occur for the purposes
of acceleration towards graduation.
One credit (1.0) is earned when
a student has successfully passed
a course that meets for the
entire school year. One half
credit (0.5) is earned when
a student has successfully passed
a course that meets for one-half
(one semester) of the year.
Or of Studies. A decision will
then be made concerning the

towards ISK’s graduation requirements.

a year can be transferred from
all other schools. Failing grades
and audits receive no credit. |
