The school Board of Directors endorses the concept that
parent participation in the affairs of the school is
essential if the school is to attain and sustain the
high level of educational excellence students deserve.
For that reason, all parents are encouraged to express
ideas, concerns, and suggestion about the school to the
Principal, the Director of Studies, the staff, and the
School Board of Directors themselves.
To enable parents to share the responsibility for the
growth and development of the school, a Parents and
Teachers Association (PTA) is essential. Formation of
the PTA has to adhere to the format specified by the
Ministry of Education.
In addition to parent participation through the PTA, the
School Board of Directors encourages individual parents
who are especially qualified because of interest,
training, experience or personal characteristics to
contribute their talents to the school and its program.
From time to time, such persons may be invited to act as
resources or advisors to the school. |
