  School Dress Code

Shoes should be those suitable for wear at school that is closed shoes or sneakers. No sandals are allowed.

New students should be in uniform within one week after the date of enrollment or as soon as their uniforms are available.. Returning students should be in uniform when school commences.

As some of our classrooms at times become “over air-conditioned’, students may wear jackets or sweaters. These must be navy blue or white.

An ISK physical education uniform is required. Sneakers must be worn.

Special emphasis is placed on neatness and cleanliness. Boys’ and girls’ hair must be kept clean, neat and combed. Boys’ hair should be no longer than to the collar and no beards or moustaches are allowed.

Accessories or jewelry, if worn, should be moderate and in good taste.

School and physical education uniforms can be purchased through the office.

Shorts pants and culottes may be tailor made if the ISK dress code is followed.

Tailors are able to sew name labels into all articles of clothing. Without name labels, ISK cannot attempt to return lost items.

The student ID must be worn as part of the uniform.

The Director of study  is responsible for judging the appropriateness of student dress and for determining dress code violations.
