There are a number of activities available each year. These are:

    Drama

Students may participate in the school drama presentations. These may include short   drama productions developed in conjunction with other school activities (such as the ISK Holiday Program) or a longer drama production presented on its own. 

    Sports

ISK students participate in a variety of sports throughout the school year. These have included soccer, basketball, badminton, hockey, taekwando, softball and tennis. 

    Publications

ISK students can help produce school publication. Students have been actively involved in the production of a student newspaper and also the ISK yearbook. 

    Forensics (Speech)

Students may enter events such as solo and duet acting, oral interpretation, oratory, debate, impromptu and extemporaneous speaking.

 
 

 

 
 

Student Administrative Procedures & Policies

 
     
 

It is understood that, when a student enrolls in the school, he/she and his/her parents agree to conform to its procedures and to comply with its rules. Students are expected, with parent and teacher guidance to:

    - Assume responsibility for their own behavior by being regular and punctual in attendance; maintain habits of
       personal cleanliness; demonstrate resect for adult direction and authority;
    - Display desirable attitudes and moral standards; make a sincere effort to learn;

    -
Accept the duties of membership in a democratic group, including leadership and fellowship responsibilities;
    - Understand that classroom behavior must consider the rights of other pupils;
    - Participate in the development of and conform to classroom standards of  behavior;
    - Conform to established school policies;
    - Take responsibility for the care of school supplies, equipment, and personal property; and
    - Cooperate with pupils who have been delegated responsibiliti

Students are expected to demonstrate effort in completing assignments, participate in classroom activities and consistently perform to their individual level of ability. 


Teachers are responsible for contacting parents when a pattern of irresponsibility or lack of effort becomes apparent. If a significant lack of effort persists, subsequent to parent involvement, disciplinary action can be imposed for the class or classes in question
